Kirsten Kellum-Harris

Kirsten Nicole “Nikki” Kellum, 53, transitioned from this life on March 31, 2021, with the Lord by her side.  Nikki was born July 18, 1967 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Jesse Charles Kellum, Jr. and Barbara Taylor. 

Nikki received her education in the Harrisburg School District and graduated from the Philadelphia City School System. Nikki also attended Harcom College located in Bryn Mawr, PA.  Nikki worked for several employers over the years until her health prevented her from continuing full-time employment. 

Nikki loved to increase her knowledge, and so she very much enjoyed reading books and teaching others about what she learned.  Nikki also loved to cook, watch movies and, most of all, nurture her three sons – Troy, Terrence and Turrell.  Nikki groomed her sons to be the best young men any mother could want.  Nikki was more than a mother; she was a wife, grandmother, sister, cousin, and best friend!  You could always count on Nikki for advice, support, and love.

Nikki was predeceased by her parents, Jesse Charles Kellum, Jr. and Barbara Taylor.  Nikki leaves to cherish her life, three sons, Troy, Terrence and Turrell; special nephew Khalif Duncan, brother, Pierre Kellum “Pep”; six grandchildren, Ashauni, Terence Jr., Aniyla, Amor, Troy Jr., Tory; aunts, Margret Jacobs, Barbara Gibbs and Neva Green; cousins, Kenneth Jacobs, Michael Jacobs, Janice Jacobs, Tracy Green Gambelunghe, Kimberly Green Turns, David Green and Ade Gibbs; her companion, Lehman D. Harris and a host of other relatives and friends.  Nikki’s spirit blessed us all.
